Delete Table Entries

Before Restart Abended Back-Up Jobs

Three ADABAS entries must be deleted before restart abended back-up jobs (ADASAV), for example:

Data Information Block (DIB)
User Queue Element (UQE)
Online Dump Status

You can use ADABAS Online System -- SYSAOS -- (the right database and system)

To delete the DIB block select:

M Database maintenance
R List/reset DIB block entries

To delete the User Queue Element select:

A Session monitoring
I Session interaction
S Stop user(s)

To delete the online dump status select:

A Session monitoring
I Session interaction
R Reset ONLINE-DUMP-Status

You can also start these functions via a batch process:

000007 //DDKARTE  DD *                    
000008 ADADBS RESETDIB JOB="jobname"
000009 ADADBS OPERCOM STOPU="jobname"
000010 ADADBS OPERCOM RDUMPST
